1. We Focus on Education
For many people, the first time they review a reverse mortgage is usually on the phone or in person with a mortgage company or mortgage broker. These loans have 4 levels of education: the basics of the program, your personal numbers, HUD-approved counseling, and the disclosure process. As you move through these 4 phases, you begin to have an understanding of how the loan works, how the numbers can help you meet your goals, and the important laws that have been written to protect seniors.
2. We Have Respect for our Clients and Patience for the Process
We recognize people have different learning styles and we try teach the concepts in ways that help seniors learn the important aspects of the program. We don’t skip the key steps and rush through the material, we teach at a pace that works for you. We focus on helping you obtain a comfort level with the information and we will ask you many questions to ensure we understand your situation.
3. We Communicate Proactively
Once you decide you need a reverse mortgage, we help you through the process and proactively communicate where you are and what’s needed to go to the next step. Communication throughout the process helps all parties involved remain clear. We also believe in face to face communication. Our responsibility to you is to meet you face to face in all the markets we serve. This is our way of going the extra step to make sure you understand all facets of your loan.
